Description
The Department of Management and Human Resources (MHR) within Fisher College of Business, at The Ohio State University, invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor position specializing in Entrepreneurship. This will be a full-time appointment, to begin Autumn semester 2026.
All courses are taught in person on the University’s main campus in Columbus, Ohio.
Performance Objectives
- Designs and creates curriculum, course content and materials, and syllabus.
- Creates an engaging classroom environment.
- Demonstrates commitment to student success.
- Generates impactful scholarly output, and service and leadership activities in support of the missions of the college.
- Provides support for developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate students within the domain of entrepreneurship.

Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements
Minimum requirements for the position are a terminal degree (PhD, DBA, or equivalent) in a business or related field (near-completed PhD students are welcome to apply). Demonstrated potential for generating impactful scholarly output within the domain of entrepreneurship that furthers the educational and/or the outreach missions of the college (e.g., through writings geared toward practitioners, management books, teaching cases, textbooks, classroom simulations, other forms of innovative pedagogical materials).
Desired attributes for Ideal candidates include significant practical business experience (particularly within the sphere of entrepreneurship, innovation, and/or technology). An established record of excellence in knowledge dissemination within the domain of entrepreneurship; a strong record of service and outreach with the business community and the ability to teach a variety of courses across entrepreneurship and strategy.
